Is anyone local doing Art Abandonment?
Been meaning to get back into for a good while, and believe I'll be out in the next hour to drop this bowl & pen at some local public places.
One pine bowl, made from the coastal variant of lodgepole pine (the variety that is actually contorted, per the binomial, and could never be use as a lodge-pole 🤷♂️). Looking to leave this where one might find what others have 'o'pined'. The slimline pen, which has a replaceable black ink tube/refill, isade from apple. Which is impressive wood, I know SUPER well... after being hit w a flying piece of it 😅 (twice as hard as typical red oak).
I'm not leaving these in conjunction w the Art Abandonment page/group on FB, because I cannot stand FB 😀. That's me ofc, and posting it w them is absolutely welcome, and they might appreciate it.
Hope these find new homes - they may evenale decent gifts. The pen has about an hour's work into it, the bowl probably 3 (including sourcing the wood).
