Duties
Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues across various operating systems including Windows and mobile platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve software problems, including applications like Microsoft Office and remote management software.
Assist with computer management tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Support network administration activities including LAN (Local Area Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, VPN connections.
Manage user accounts and permissions using Windows Server environments
Conduct basic analysis of hardware components and troubleshoot computer hardware issues
Support IT infrastructure maintenance tasks such as deploying updates, patches and firmware
Skills
Good understanding of technical support principles for both hardware and software troubleshooting
Proficiency with operating systems including Microsoft Windows (Windows 10/11), Windows Server.
Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN setup, DNS configuration, DHCP management, VPNs, firewalls, and network security tools.
Experience with help desk ticketing systems is helpful
Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users with diverse technical issues
Ability to analyze problems quickly and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
Customer service mindset with a focus on delivering positive user experiences. Patience is important
Basic understanding of mobile device management and troubleshooting for smartphones and tablets
Willingness to learn new technologies related to IT support and network administration
