Room open in 3 bedroom house soon. Current roommate has given me a heads up that he will be working on moving out, probably by the first of the year. Would like to start getting to know people to look for the next roommate. For the right candidate and depending on the situation, I may allow someone to use my son’s room temporarily until the current roommate moves out.
About house: 1540sqft, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen with stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, stove, and microwave, laundry room with newer washer and dryer, huge bonus room (man cave) with pool table, hang out spot, bay window, office, plenty of storage, back yard with patio area. Live in an awesome, neighborly culdesac. The bonus room is in the works of being reorganized and going through stuff to get rid off so it is a little messy at this point.
About room: Rent-$600 including ALL utilities plus internet and cable (streaming apps), with mostly own bathroom besides the occasional bathroom use. You get to design whatever you want with it and all the storage space is yours in there. Semi-new carpet and paint. Pictures of the room are the last 3 pictures before the current roommate moved in. Carpets will be carpet cleaned and room wiped down after current roommate moves out.
About roommates:
Owner of house (Amber)- work part time during the week in the medical imaging field and occasional babysitting gigs at the house. Have a 14 month old son. We are usually up early everyday. Son likes to get up around 7. Most of the time it is pretty quiet at the house.
I am in mid 30's. I am laid back but get things done when need to be. Work hard during the week and have fun/relax on the weekends. I enjoy watching football, drinking beer, bbq, social events, conversations, playing games (like poker and cards against humanity), watching movies/TV.
I am looking for someone SIMILAIR in age who has the same commonalities and share in on the house duties. House keep up and yard duties are a MUST. Someone who enjoys social activities mainly on the weekends. Handyman would be an amazing add on, will have times to earn rent reduction for house projects but must be agreed upon before project starts. And not to expect it to be every month. I am really into finding someone that will mix with us. So we are not in a rush. We want to find the fit.
We have a lot of projects in mind like a garden, swimming pool, bbq area. We are ready to make it great! Come join in on the fun!
Pets- not negotiable at this time. We do not have any pets at the house and I am waiting for my son to be a little older before I add any to the house.
Cleaning fee- $100 non refundable cleaning fee used for when you move out for the rest of the household besides the room.
