Townhomes were built in 2024 and come with lots of sustainable features, including free EV charging, raised beds for tenants in the shared backyard, and a giant water catchment tank that helps reduce overall water costs. Strawbale construction means great insulation and really reasonable heating/cooling costs. Induction stove in the kitchen, no gas.
Easy access to central bike path and multiple bike racks onsite. Takes only a few minutes to walk to SOU. Only one parking space per unit, but this can be shared as needed for access to the EV charging.
About me: early 40s, they/them, writer and community organizer. Social introvert who values quiet time in the morning and evenings but enjoys sharing food and conversation with those I live with.
Ideal housemate is tidy, good at communicating about needs and use of the shared space, wants a communal living situation but also enjoys quiet hours, and is willing to commit to low/no-fragrance cleaning and personal products to accommodate allergies.
Living room and kitchen are pretty much furnished at this point, but the bedroom is not. Some storage space available.
The property is non-smoking and doesn't allow pets. But lots of rooms for plants both inside and out. Both bedrooms have a private balcony, and the open room has southern exposure with great light.
