I paid for and took my own refresher. Just need a pack test, then I am good to go.

* Over 100 fires since 2002
* Joined structural fire explorer post in 1998 at age 14

* Valid license

* Healthy, strong, and fit - mentally & physically
I am not comfortable working with the agency I am currently employed with, nor do I get paid enough to work in the ash. I am not going to out my agency, so let's just leave it at that.
I run a tight ship, but I do not micromanage my firefighters. However, I also will not be micromanaged.
My top priority is firefighter safety. The second priority is keeping the wheels rolling until the snow falls.
*Must pay at least $800 daily rate or equivalent hourly for 12 hour day.
