The nut was filed to Epiphone specs by Dan at Plectrum Music.
I have set up the guitar. The action is: 1.75 low E at 12th fret/ 1.25 high E at 12th fret. The truss rod is very responsive. I set it up to the Epiphone relief specifications.
I intonated it using a good tuner (not a clip on). The notes are in tune from the first fret all the way up the fretboard to the last fret.
It really is a nice guitar, but I have guitars that cover the same sonic ground. It's been set up, the neck oiled, and the strings changed. This one needs to find a good home. I bought it hoping I could find a student that is serious about learning guitar and would appreciate a nice guitar.
