This Piano was purchased at Sardine Creek in 1986. The old person it was purchased from said it was originally at the old stagecoacch building near Gold Hill, aftert the stage stop closed and was briefly a general store. It is an antique piano made in 1901. It was stripped by me of layers of paint, and all the ivory keys were reset with modern glue. The front legs are in need of replacement. Anyone with some basic wood skills can make new ones, or con tracted to a local woodmaker. It plays fine and weighs about 700 pounds. It is located 7 miles west of Grants Pass. Pictures available. It does stand on its own without any assistance.
