This is a killer custom MJT guitar created to fulfill my absolute dream version of an early 60s Fender Jazzmaster. She looks, plays and sounds AMAZING -- I challenge you to find a Jazzmaster this cool for the price anywhere online! No detail was spared, I made this with what I considered the best custom part options out there at the time. Here are all the specs:
Body: MJT made VTJ Jazzmaster body in a relic'd Olympic White nitro finish, vintage-faded to cream/light yellow
Pickups: Novak JM-V (neck) and JM-180 (bridge) w/custom wiring kit (see more info on what this does below)
Bridge and Tremelo: custom Staytrem UK made tremolo/bridge system (awesome upgrade)
Assembled by a professional guitar tech, I have had this guitar for just over 10 years and everyone that sees it immediately falls in love with it, as just having it in the room is a conversation piece. Only reason I'm selling is because I never pick up anything beyond one of 2 Stratocasters. I really wanted to love offsets, but I'm finally willing to admit that I'm a strat addict...
This beauty needs to go to someone who will love and play her!! Serious buyer ONLY -- PRICE IS FIRM -- this is how much I spent on the parts alone, not taking into account the assembly. NO CASE INCLUDED -- however I have an SKB in Jazzmaster case in excellent condition I'd be willing to throw in for $200 extra, seen in last pic ($240 new). Thanks for looking!!

Here is more info about the JM-180 pickup with custom wiring-kit explained from Rothstein Guitars: "Here's the deal. I can't tell you how many serious Jazzmaster players have told me they NEVER use the upper rhythm, it is just too dark, or it sounds like someone stuffed cotton in your ears... So Curtis Novak got the idea of this tapped JM pickup and we worked together to redesign the wiring for the upper rhythm circuit converting it into a high gain lead circuit with its own separate volume and tone. So when you slide the switch to the upper circuit you will get the Full JM-180. Curt came up with the name JM-180 because it is 2 full JM-90's in one, but also it does a complete 180 on the dark rhythm circuit making it a over driven lead circuit, without the need of an overdrive pedal."
