This is a replacement ignition module / IC ignitor which I purchased in July 2013. It was manufactured by a California company called Regulator-Rectifier. They listed it as fitting 1995-1999 VN1500A models only. This will not work on the classic models. I bought it for my 1995 and the original factory Kawasaki unit has the number 21119-1417 on it.

I thought the original Kawasaki module was bad but it turned out to be the coils so I re-installed the original unit after running this one for approximately 150 miles.
