**Please read the entire ad thoroughly before responding. Do not send me a message with your phone number or asking for my address--I will ignore you. Please tell me a little bit about your situation and your set-up, as well as your goals for these goats (pets, show, milk, etc.). They will only go to an approved home.**

I have 2 ADGA registered Lamancha doelings available at this time. Our herd has tested negative for CAE, CL and Johnes, and we raise our kids on strict CAE prevention. Our herd is on DHIR milk test, and we participate in linear appraisal and do a little bit of showing.

These girls are being bottle fed in the evening, with a little Purina Goat Grower and free choice 3rd cutting alfalfa. They aren't eating much grain, but they are eating alfalfa pretty well now. They are disbudded and have had their CD&T vaccine. They are old enough they could be weaned, but we have plenty of milk, so will keep them on milk for awhile longer.

You must have other goats of about the same age, or take two, as goats are herd animals and do not do well without the companionship of others of their own kind. No horned goats, for their safety, as horned goats have been known to use them on other goats, and these girls have no defenses. You must have safe housing and pens, good fencing, free choice alfalfa hay and fresh, clean water. A little grower grain would also be appreciated by them. They will need regular hoof trimming and veterinary care as needed. They will need to be bottle fed for a minimum of 8 weeks, with 12 (or more) weeks recommended. If you do not have access to goat milk, homogenized whole cows milk from the store works well for feeding goat kids.

You must have an enclosed vehicle to take them home--I do not send animals home in open vehicles or trailers, for their health and safety. I also do not send them home in temperatures over 90 degrees F. If the weather is hot, they will need to be transported early in the day or in the evening, to avoid issues, unless you are hauling inside an air conditioned vehicle.

Literate Lamanchas Sarissa is a cream doeling, born 4/3/24. https://genetics.adga.org/PedigreePrint.aspx?RegNumber=L002380588 Sarissa is becoming very wide and deep bodied as she matures. She is out of a first freshener, Literate Lamanchas Mab, and a very fancy new junior herdsire, Goat-San I Am the Walrus. His dam, Goat-San Blackbird, was 4th place 4 year old at the 2023 ADGA Nationals, and he has an outstanding pedigree. Mab's dam made the Elite list for milkers on her first lactation, before we sold her, and Mab milked 8# (just under a gallon) on her first milk test, at 33 days in milk, and 8.3# on her second test. We are retaining one of Sarissa's sisters. Sarissa is $250.

Literate Lamanchas Rosie is a chamoisee doeling, born 4/3/24. https://genetics.adga.org/PedigreePrint.aspx?RegNumber=L002380591 She is out of another first freshener, Literate Lamanchas Scarlett, and our other new junior herdsire, Alder-Grove Renaissance Man. Ren's dam, Fir Meadow DNL Elegance, was Total Performer at the 2023 ADGA Nationals, and he also has an outstanding pedigree. Scarlett milked 7.1# at 33 days in milk, with a crazy 5.1% butterfat ratio, and 9# on her second milk test. Rosie is also $250.
