Still looking for a place to board my livestock. The place doesn’t need to be exactly like what is in the pictures. I’ve looked at a few places but none were quite right.
I was informed that I have until the end of the year to find another place for my goats as the owners of the property where they are located wants to do something else with the pasture and barn. Where they are has been wonderful. I live in the Bear Creek Mobile Home Park at Exit 19 in Ashland. Right now the goats are 1/4 mile up Tolman Creek which is near Exit 14. It’s a 10 minute drive. I have 7 adult Nubians which includes 1 buck that lives with the does. There will be babies at some point but they will all be sold. I milk most of the does twice a day.
Ideally, I am looking for an irrigated pasture with a small barn or shelter with a place to store hay and do the milking within a short drive from my home as I drive there two or three times a day. A dry lot is also okay. I also have 17 chickens and a couple of ducks. They sleep in large pet kennels which need to be in a sheltered place. I have included pictures of my current place. Hoping to find someplace similar.
If you have just an empty pasture, I will build some simple structures out of pallets. Area must be fenced.
