We downsized last summer and bought this gorgeous girl for the new place, thinking she would be great for overnight guests passing through. (There's another modular piece (not shown) that turns her into an enormous comfy bed.)
Everybody said "Gramma it's too big for the space." I bought her anyway. "Who needs space?" I thought. "Isn't that what downsizing is? Less space?"
And really, I have been super happy with her in every way. As you can see, she adds a stunning mid-century look to my eclectic artsy style. The corduroy texture is soft to the touch, and gives the black almost a subtle tinge of midnight blue.
The modular pieces can be arranged in all sorts of ways--we have tried almost every combo.
But, sigh, my family was right. She is too big for the space. I mean WAY too big. Even I can see that now. So I have finally relented and am letting her go to a good family.
She has barely been used b/c both my grandson and I are disabled and mostly bedbound. Our cleaners vacuum her twice a month. We've only had two overnight visits and our guests loved their nights sleep.
I paid $1100 for her last summer. Asking $875. Cash only.
