Comes apart for transport and incredibly sturdy. This is custom made by a local/central Oregon carpenter. It's made to be constructed and deconstructed as many times as you like for moving. We asked Bryce from Simple Loft Beds to also add diagonal cross beams for even more support plus a railing on one side. Measurements: height: 47" to bed base or 62" to top of railing. Length 81" by width 61.5" perfectly fits a queen size mattress. It's a platform loft bed, so it does not need a box spring.
We left it unfinished because we like the look, but you could easily stain or paint it if you like! There are a couple small places where our kids put stickers on it and colored - oops - but we removed them and sanded the coloring parts.
