For sale is my late father’s 1967 Datsun 2000 Roadster (SRL311), production number 492, with the matching-number engine.
This car has been in dry storage for years. My parents planned to restore it together, but like many enthusiasts, my dad had more projects than time. Now I’m hoping to get it into the hands of someone who will genuinely appreciate it.
The Car
• 1967 Datsun 2000 (aka '67 1/2)
• Production #492
• Matching-numbers engine
• 5-speed manual
• Has been stored for years
• My mom says it ran when parked
• California title in hand
• Located in Southern Oregon
Condition
It’s a project, but a solid and complete one. It will need the usual fuel system, brakes, fluids, and careful wake-up after long-term storage. Serious buyers who know these cars will understand the rarity and potential here. No rust in the usual places like fender wells, etc. You can see one rust spot in the trunk floor.
Why It’s For Sale
My father recently passed, and this was one of his “someday” cars. I’d love to see it go to someone who will bring it back to life and enjoy it the way he always intended.
