We are seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to join our team performing component-level troubleshooting and repair of industrial electronic equipment.
This is bench-level diagnostic work requiring strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify failures down to the component level rather than replacing entire assemblies.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair industrial electronic equipment to the component level
Diagnose failures in power supplies, analog circuits, digital circuits, and control systems
Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and other test equipment
Perform soldering and desoldering of through-hole and surface-mount components
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering documentation
Conduct functional testing and verification after repairs
Document repair findings and corrective actions
Preferred Experience
3+ years of electronics troubleshooting and repair experience
Experience repairing industrial controls, test equipment, power supplies, PLC-related electronics, drives, instrumentation, or similar equipment
Ability to troubleshoot to the component level
Experience with SMT and through-hole rework
Familiarity with oscilloscopes, signal tracing, and circuit analysis
Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs simultaneously
Desired Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience with switching power supplies
Analog and digital circuit troubleshooting
Microprocessor and communication circuit diagnostics
IPC soldering experience a plus
