They went for the gold and won—three times! The award-winning Siskiyou Violins Ensemble performs at Hanley Farm, Thursday evening, September 5. The Ensemble won their first gold medal in 2005 at the annual New York International Music Festival held at Carnegie Hall. And they again earned the coveted Carnegie Medal in their 2012 and 2019 return performances.
Join us for an evening of music, performed only as these young violinists can. Or, as one reviewer wrote, “What a great musical journey you took us on…such passion in your playing is delightful to hear!” And there will be a raffle, ice cream, drinks and popcorn available for purchase. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, enjoy a refreshing drink, a slice or two of pizza, and . . .don’t forget the ice cream and popcorn!
September 5, Hanley Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Performance: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $5/Adults, $3/SOHS Members & Children 12 & younger. Purchase tickets at the gate or online at http://sohs.org/violins. Hanley Farm, 1053 Hanley Road, Central Point
