Camelina oil has an omega-3:omega-6 ratio near 2.2:1 and contains vitamin E that aids shelf stability

Camelina oil comes from Camelina sativa and is fed to horses and livestock for omega-3s, supplying about 38% alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)

Omega-3’s are essential fatty acids that cannot be made by the body and must be supplied in the diet. Horses and livestock consuming grains or complete feeds tend to have higher levels of omega-6’s in their diet. This imbalance could lead to pro-inflammatory processes in the body.
