The predetermined date, set for the launching of the Hydro-Snyper II, has come and went. SAFETY, is extremely critical when testing mechanical devices that have been dreamt up. The HYDRO-SNYPER II, is just such a device. Although, the previous HYDRO-SNYPER I prototype did achieve the desired effect. We where able to launch an aqua filled, 6 pound, 7 layered, latex projectile to a distance of 134 feet with just the push of the gas peddle; this by no means dictates that the next generation HYDRO-SNYPER II will perform as well. Assuming, that all the connections, secure points, bolts and nuts, and fasteners are torqued to the specifications desired by its creator to ensure solid performance; we here know that this test will not be without its drawbacks.
We do maintain a sense of urgency here, to complete this innovative device, for the immediate future of wildland fire fighting and its possible role in achieving the upperhand in desperate situations like we are seeing happen in Texas now. Of course one has to take in account for the limitations placed upon us, and rushing anything that is naturally brought to fruition, can essentially be its demise.
Please email us here for suppotive thoughts and ideas. We enjoy hearing from everyone, and that includes the Knights of Rhondas Roundtable. Everyone has a creative flow to them, so placing destruction and elimination at the forefront of your to-do list is creative in a way. (We guess) Just not what we are attempting to do, so type away, we will read them anyways. Maybe.
