Pearson Triton 1962 Fiberglass Blue water sailboat. Hull #360. Designer; Carl Alberg. West coast (Sausalito) boat with heavy fiberglass coamings. Beam is ONLY 8 feet 3 inches. (TRAILERABLE) Draft is ONLY 4 feet! Full/long keel. Displacement; 8400 lbs (approx). Ballast 3000 lbs.
PROJECT BOAT... She needs work, I've cut the deck and removed old balsa core. You'd need to glass her back up and refit. Original mast (aluminum, Fractional rig) 12 hp diesel engine has been pulled out but IS available. Full set of sails...(old). Rigging is usable but should be replaced.
This boat has a reputation as a STURDY( if small) circumnavigator. Look her up... Good old boats... She's been in a DIY yard in Portland, OR. ( you'd need to make arrangements with them to keep her there)
I'm looking for someone who wants to get her back in the water.
(I will include a book on repair/refit that uses a Triton as the example boat,)
