I rode this bike for a long time in Colorado, but since moving to Medford I haven't ridden it much at all. Then I got OLD and realized that my Mountain Biking is over...sigh
When I first purchased this bike, I had the stock (crap) front shocks replaced by Marzocci Bomber forks. REAL oil bath shocks! Fox rear shock. 6" travel front/rear
I had a local bike shop swap out the rear suspension pivot points from bushings to needle bearings when I first moved here.
I grew up riding with toe-clips, so that is what is on the bike.
Everything works perfectly.
I had "Grunge Guards" on the derailleurs when I rode in Colorado, but the rear one just rotted off with age. Point is, that the derailleurs are in PERFECT condition..no mud ever got to them.
Front is XT, rear is XTR.
I have an extra tire, and toe clip set.
Also have Kevlar linings in the tires to help prevent flats.
I weighed around 200 lbs, so the bike/suspension is set up for that weight.
