1988 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Originally a 4 cyl converted to a 4.0L 6 cyl. Took this rig in trade for my grandson. I have put over $5500 in repairs plus my trade of $5500 and still have a few items left to complete. The odometer and speedometer do not work but the others in the pics seem to work fine. Here is a partial list of what was done. Serpentine belt, new battery, new head lamp, complely new Brehaust exhaust system, new oil seals (transfer case, inout & output shaft), flush and refill transmission fluid, new filter, reseal transmission and pan, remove valve body and replace shift shaft seal, replace wiper motor and linkage, change oil and filter, service and reseal rear diff, change gear oil and added friction modifier additive, Front brake Caliper and pads, front drive shaft, U joints right front axle, KYB Steering stabilizer, steering tie rods, suspension stabilizer bar link kit, bushing kit, steering damper and any and all adjustments to keep the front end driving straight. With all this being done, my 16 year old Grandson has lost interest in this project. and I have lost my patients. So with that said, I am willing to take a loss and sell for $8500 cash and you put on the finishing touches. I am also will to barter straight up an automatic, 4x4, extra cab truck under 150,000 miles.
