These 2 late 1800’s unsigned pastel portraits from the famous Chicago theater chain Balaban and Katz auction in mid 1950s. Do your research on these famous Chicago theaters. They were more than movie theaters, they housed impressive artwork as well. Each portrait with frame is approximately 24” by 21”. The gold frame is original.
