This rare vintage 1930's sewing machine is an incredible work horse. Machine works very well (it was one of my personal back up machines) and has been lovingly maintained in our smoke-free home. It is solid with a lovely stitch.
Straight stitch capability only with reverse and adjustable presser foot pressure. Feed dogs can be lowered for free motion stitching/quilting.
No damage or rust on the machine. Bobbin mechanism, plugs and knee pedal are in excellent condition. Light on top of machine works well, no issues.
Cabinet is in pre-owned vintage condition with some scuffs and scratches due to normal wear and tear, age and use. Top has some aesthetic issues - a few scratches and a faded area. Cabinet, table, legs and folding pieces are all solid and sturdy. Hinges are all in great shape. Sewing machine and extender table fold down when not in use. Front of cabinet opens up and has an accessories holder/shelf. All wiring and plugs are in great shape.
Comes with a user manual (it's a copy, not the original), 1 metal bobbin case, 2 metal bobbins, and 11 presser feet, including a Greist tucker, a Greist 5-stitch ruffler, a Greist binder, Greist edge stitcher, and 4 different sizes of Greist hemmers. Instruction manual has instructions on how to use these presser feet, as well!
This sewing machine is in remarkably good condition for its age. Please see item photos as the pictures are considered part of the item condition description.
